In 1923, in the American city of Nashville, a girl was born into a modest family, who was named Betty. The girl's parents divorced when she was 10 years old, and since then little Betty had to support her two sisters herself.
Probably, if not for these circumstances, then we would hardly ever hear the name Betty Page.
And by the way, it was this baby who later made the real one. sexual revolution in America. In the early 50s, Betty began acting for erotic postcards.
This was followed by pin-up and fetish photo shoots. Betty was the real star of her time.
Beginning models looked up to her, and photographers tried to get her as a model. Betty starred for the most famous magazines of that era, her photographs were regularly published in Playboy. And whole legends circulated around the life of Betia.
She was even credited with an erotic relationship with Marilyn Monroe herself. Unfortunately, however, as in the case of Marilyn, fame did not bring Batty happiness.
Numerous marriages, a dubious reputation have completely undermined the girl's mental health. She was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, and until the end of her days, Betty had to be seen by psychiatrists.
Betty died in 2008 at the age of 85 from a heart attack.
