Cheese, like bread, is the head of everything. Because it can be a worthy ingredient in almost any dish.
Take wonton (Chinese dumplings) dough or puff pastry, cut it into squares, place a few cubes of soft cheese inside, and wrap by joining the corners of the dough together. Preheat a skillet or saucepan and fry in sizzling oil until golden brown. They can be served with honey-mustard sauce.
Pasta with spinach, artichokes and cheese
Preheat the oven and cook the pasta in a saucepan according to the instructions on the package. In a large bowl, collect half a cup each fresh artichoke and chopped spinach, onion and 3 garlic cloves. Add grated Parmesan cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, 1 cup grated Swiss cheese, and cream cheese. Toss it all with the cooked pasta, place in a greased pan, add cream and bake for about 30 minutes.
Pasta with tomatoes and mozzarella cheese
Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package, rinse it, strain it, leaving a little water in the saucepan. Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Fry grapes, tomatoes with the addition of tomato paste on it. Add some milk to the mixture and stir. Place the pasta in a saucepan with this mixture and stir again. Add 3 balls of mozzarella cheese and cover for 2 minutes. Finally, toss the basil leaves into the pot and stir again. You can decorate the dish with fresh mint leaves.
To make the fondue, add the diced Gouda and Swiss cheese to a bowl and toss with the cornstarch and pepper.
Rub the fondue pot with garlic. Pour 1.5 cups of dry white wine, a tablespoon of brandy into it and heat over medium heat. When the liquid begins to boil, add the cheese, stirring slowly. Season the sauce with nutmeg and pepper. Keep it on low heat until tender.
Serve the fondue with croissants or croutons.
Preheat the oven. Slice the pre-cooked dough into square cookies. Place a hard cheese cube in the center of each, wrap the dough around it and roll into a ball. In a bowl, melt the garlic butter in the microwave. In a separate bowl, combine the parsley and shredded Parmesan cheese. Dip the balls first in butter, then in the cheese mixture and place on a baking sheet. Bake the balls for 10-12 minutes, until lightly browned.
Potato pancakes with cheese
For this dish, you need to prepare potato pancakes in advance. Preheat the oven. Grease a dish with butter. In a bowl, combine butter, salt, pepper, onion, cream, grated soft cheese and add the pancakes to the mixture so that they are completely covered with it. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
White pizza bread
Preheat the oven. Slice a loaf of bread first along the long side and then across the width to form a mesh. Wrap the bread in foil and place in the oven for 10 minutes. Melt the butter in a microwave or small saucepan. While stirring, add the garlic, grated cheese and thyme leaves to the oil. Gently lift the pieces of bread and cover them with the sauce. Gently place chopped sun-dried tomatoes and grated cheese into the crevices of the bread. Bake the bread 15-20 minutes until golden brown. After baking, sprinkle with grated cheese again.
Pasta with cheese and croutons
In a large saucepan of salted water, boil the pasta until al dente. Add 3 tablespoons of butter to the skillet and melt over the heat.Add the garlic and sauté it for 30 seconds, then toss in the chopped crackers and fry the mixture for 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently.
In the same saucepan where the pasta was cooked, melt 4 tablespoons of butter. Add flour. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 minute, stirring occasionally. Add milk gradually and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens. Toss this sauce with cheese, pepper and salt to taste. Place pasta in prepared baking dish, top with sauce and sprinkle with toasted crumbs evenly. Bake for 20 minutes.
Baked potatoes with cheese
Cut potatoes into halves or quarters (depending on size) and cook. Place the boiled potatoes in a baking dish and top with natural yogurt. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and minced garlic. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Remove the potatoes from the oven, sprinkle them on top with 1 cup of grated cheese (several types possible) and return back to the oven for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted.
Cream of tomato soup with cheese
Put the soup pot on the fire, add 3-4 tablespoons of olive oil, diced onions and sauté until the onions are brown. Add Italian seasoning, black and red peppers, a pinch of salt and tomato paste and cook for a minute. Then add, while stirring, canned tomatoes, fresh parsley, basil, sugar. Simmer for 20 minutes. Then sprinkle with grated cheese on top and beat the soup with a blender until creamy. After that, if desired, croutons or crackers can be added to the soup.
Cheese rolls with bacon
Roll out slices of sandwich bread with a rolling pin, add a slice of cheese on top. Roll into rolls, wrap each with a slice of bacon, secure with a toothpick. Toast the rolls in butter until the bacon is lightly browned and the cheese is melted.
Baked red pepper with cheese
Combine diced red pepper, 4 tablespoons cream cheese, mozzarella ball, glass of grated hard cheese, salt and black pepper in a baking dish and bake at 180 degrees until golden brown for about 20-30 minutes. Serve the dish hot along with croutons.
