We all know that there are limits of weight recognized by medicine, staying beyond which is very dangerous for human health - be it obesity or dystrophy. In most cases, a sharp increase in mass or weight loss is correlated by a person with the amount of food he eats, but this is wrong. Sometimes this can be a signal that something is wrong with your body. Be sure to see a doctor.
Thanks to the Body Mass Index, you can easily determine if your weight is normal, or you are on the verge of obesity. BMI is the ratio between the weight and height of a particular person.
Calculating BMI using the formula is pretty easy - you need to divide your weight (in kilograms) by your height squared (in meters). For example, if you weigh 100 kg, with a height of 1.70 m, then you need to multiply 1.70 by 1.70, and then divide 100 by the resulting result: 100 ÷ 2.89 = 34, 60. The resulting figure 34, 60 is your mass index. Now we are looking for this figure on our table..
… you are slightly obese.
Well, if there is no calculator nearby, then you can use this table
