Upon his arrival in America, Jewish-born photographer Joachim West was surprised that most young people knew nothing about the Holocaust. This sad page in history left an indelible mark on the fate of his ancestors - they were expelled from Austria and were forced to wander around the world.
And so Joachim decided to inform people about this terrible event. For several years he collected pictures of those years, then restored them in color. This, in his opinion, will allow the younger generation to more clearly imagine the full extent of the tragedy of the atrocities of the Nazis.
