Indonesian artist and illustrator Lickman Reza Mulino, better known as "Jongkie", uses watercolors to create colorful animal illustrations with whimsical plots.
“For me especially, nature provides incomprehensible inspiration. Living things and animals in the wild, in their natural environment. On the other hand, I am an emotional and touching person. I easily fall in love with beautiful things. I shed tears quickly when I read a sad novel or watch melodramas, as well as real sad stories. These things motivate me to create watercolor paintings that contain stories of life in the form of metaphors,”- this is how Lickman described her work.
