Once upon a time, the Cherkizovsky market was very popular. And its owner Telman Ismailov was considered one of the richest people in Russia. Telman himself was from Baku, was born and grew up in a large family. His father was engaged in trade, hence the son inherited this commercial streak. After the army, he moved to study in Moscow. Very soon he made the right connections and started his own business. Acquaintance with Yuri Luzhkov made Ismailov a millionaire. He received huge profits from the Cherkizovsky market.

However, all his activities were illegal, and criminal cases were carried out under the guise of simple trade. Thälmann became richer, petty officials and businessmen fed from his hands. And while Yuri Luzhkov was the mayor, all this remained hidden from the public eye. Thälmann had a close friendship with the stars of show business. He bought houses for them, made expensive gifts. However, everything has an end, like his empire.

In 2015, the Cherkizovsky market was closed, and all of Ismailov's illegal activities were made public. He was charged with serious crimes and faces years in prison. At the same time, he owes the state about $ 30 billion. He declared himself bankrupt and simply fled the country. All his property was confiscated, and even what belonged to his sons. Telman now lives in Montenegro, where he is trying to regain his past. However, he will not return to Russia, because this will threaten him with prison.
