It is no secret that perfect cleanliness does not exist in our everyday life. Bacteria are ubiquitous and are our life companions everywhere and always. So, first of all, know that you are never alone! And secondly, do not be naive - expect to meet "micro-friends" where you were not even supposed to meet them. For example, in places like..
1. Washed underwear
Clothes can remain dirty even after washing. Few know this, but after washing your underwear, E. coli cells may remain in the washing machine. and therefore, in order to surely kill these bacteria, set the washing temperature at 60-65 ° C, and preferably at 100 ° C. Then the bacteria will die instantly.

2. Lemon on the edge of the glass
We are aware of the antibacterial properties of lemon, but none of these properties save the edge of the glass, which is sometimes decorated with a slice of lemon or orange. Of the 76 glasses tested in 21 restaurants, 70% contained disease-causing microbes, according to the Journal of Environmental Health. So, sadly, not a slice of lemon or anything else is able to cleanse the edge of the glass from bacteria.

3. Car windshield
Scientists at Arizona State University have found that even if water is used to clean the glass, legionella can still be found in the washer reservoir. These are dangerous bacteria that cause pneumonia. They can penetrate into the human body through vapors. It is for this reason that scientists advise using alcohol-based windshield washer fluid even in the warm season.

4. New clothes
After numerous studies, which were carried out by the head of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at New York University, Philip Thierno, it was confirmed that bacteria live on new clothes from stores that also live on the skin, in feces and secretions from the respiratory system. So the best thing to do is to wash any new clothes.

5. Car dashboard
The dashboard is the dirtiest place in the car! Microorganisms settle on it, which enter the car through the air conditioning system. And the heat from the sun creates the most favorable conditions for their reproduction. So you should wipe the dashboard with a disinfectant at least once a week.

6. Case for contact lenses
Chinese scientists have found that 34% of contact lens cases contain the bacteria serratia and Staphylococcus aureus. If these bacteria get into the eyes, serious complications can begin, up to the onset of blindness. To prevent this, it is necessary to rinse the case daily with boiled water, and the solution should be changed every two months, since during this time it loses its antibacterial properties.
